3 months ago Bought a $1,400 couch. Sales guy was less than impressive from a customer service standpoint. Couch has already broken in one area, the least used spot with recliner. Will never go back.

4 months ago Hubby and I were window shopping for recliners. Looked through everything Longstreet had, only one caught our eye, but we weren't planning on buying that day, just supposed to be looking, except we kept coming back to this one chair! To make along story short, we ended up buying it, and a second one! Service was excellent, salespeople very good at what they do, and oh yes, we love our recliners!!! Thanks Longstreet living!

I recently bought a house in Marshall and was looking to add a few more staple pieces and I found everything and more at Longstreet. Everything you need to make your home standout. Service is outstanding! Mackenzie is very knowledgeable and guided us to exactly what we need as far as lumbar support goes. 9 months ago I have had a horrible experience thus far with this business. I just moved here and am glad to support local businesses, and even pay the additional mark up to do it however this business does not value its customers. I ordered a loveseat in the beginning of October and was told 8-10 weeks to get it. It is currently march, more than double the the quoted time and it still isn't in. To make matters worse the customer service when i check on the item is rude, not understanding of my frustration, not updated me at all of what is going on.SO NOT ONLY DID I PAY $120 OVER THE OTHER STORES, THEY ARE RUDE AND STILL UNABLE TO GET MY LOVESEAT.BEWARE OF THE LIES THAT THEY TELL.

We were used to our normal turn around time of 8-10 weeks with this manufacturer. We are honestly just relaying to you what we are being told from our manufacturers. If we could get it here for you tomorrow, we would! We will look into the "rude" accusation and get this straightened out ASAP. If you would like to call and get a full refund or exchange it for something we have in our warehouse, we would be more than happy to do that for you. The gal at front desk took us right to the pieces I had in my head and we bought all 4 and were out the door in less than an hour. Can't wait to get them in our home and so excited. I had been here once before a couple of years ago for an end table but at this point needed more. Prices were great and a great selection to choose from if you aren't sure what you want

11 months ago We heard lots of good things about Longstreet and decided to visit ourselves. We recently ordered a living room set from another store and have been waiting months for it to arrive. After multiple delays, we decided to see what other options were out there. Enter Longstreet Living. We were politely greeted several times by every employee that passed by. Every one made sure we were taken care of. We were pleasantly surprised to find a living room outfit we liked better than the one we ordered. The style, the fabric, the quality and the price, were all perfect. After waiting months for our previously ordered living room set, we thought this new set was worth asking a out . Our salesman understood our dilemma and was willing to sell us the display model to help our situation. Luckily enough there was a second set still boxed up in the back. We opted to have the furniture delivered the following week for a small additional fee. After completing the paperwork, we headed for home. Along the way we discussed what we needed to do to cancel the previous order from the chain store. We hadn't made it halfway home when we got a call from Longstreet. Our salesman wondered if we were heading straight home and offered to deliver the furniture today. He actually said he thought I might like to watch the game this weekend on my new couch, and wondered if we would be around for the delivery!! After waiting months for our previously ordered set, with no delivery in sight, this was a huge surprise. The way all the other stores were delaying deliveries, we never expected to have furniture for a while. Longstreet made new friends that day. I'm definitely going back for a bedroom outfit.

12 months ago Although we didn't purchase the sofa & recliner we liked, this is a very nice place to shop. My husband had one we'd previously seen that he just liked a little better. The folks here are low pressure and very nice. Great selection and wide range of furniture.They've got a ton of other things for decorating from flooring to candle holders. Planning on another trip down when I've got more browsing time.

last year My husband and I will NEVER go in this store again. We went for the first time yesterday, November 20, in hopes of getting a new couch. When we walked in nobody even acknowledged us even though there were about 5 employees and there were no other people in store. We picked out the couch we wanted and after 45 minutes of waiting for someone to come assist us or even to acknowledge us we ended up walking out. They lost a $1,000 sale because of negligence on their part, even though when we left there was still no other customers in store and 2 of the employees were standing at front desk just talking. We took our business elsewhere and actually saved $400. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

last year Shopping for a sofa and went to Sturgis Longstreet but they didn't have a lot of in stock inventory, they were very helpful and suggested going to the Coldwater location. Decided to make the trip, we purchased a sofa but not because they were helpful or friendly. Worst customer service we have encountered. We have purchased from Sturgis Longstreet many times and never had any complaints. Staff was rude, didn't greet us upon entry and acted like they were in a huge hurry instead of offering some assistance. The lack of available inventory on the market played to Longstreets favor otherwise we would not have purchase!

last year Extreme lack of professionalism and customer service – after doing several jobs over the past 4 years with Longstreet Living including new solid surface countertops in 3 bathrooms and a kitchen with an island, wood floors in large great room and dining room, carpet in 4 rooms, tile in 2 rooms & an entrance, and flooring in 2 additional rooms. I contacted Nick Longstreet (I have worked with him on all of our projects) in January to inquire about redoing a fireplace in our great room. Nick contacted me the week the stay-at-home orders went into effect to install our tile and I explained due to COVID we were not comfortable in having a contractor in our home. He said he understood and to let him know when we were ready to have the job done. I contacted Nick in June and advised him we were ready to have the tile installed on the hearth of the fireplace completed (a very small job) and he advised me we would have to wait until August. I wrote back expressing my disappointment in getting scheduled approximately 2 months out. He responded that they would not complete our job after I had expressed we had no other options for installation.We already had a quote from Nick for over $5,000 on another job we planned to do with them and looking to purchase new furniture as well within the next year. However, he does not value his customers!

last year Original carpet at our restaurant was defective. Not the fault of Longstreet. They contracted an outside firm to examine carpet and they determined it was a manufacturing defect. 100% credit from Longstreet and we upgraded to big carpet commercial tile. Wonderful and it has held up like new. Longstreet had installed tile at restaurant and it is great. New sun curtains at our home and new counters. Naturally it was from Longstreet's. Bad back and now sleep in a new Lazy Boy recliner from Longstreet's.

Received a call from Sabrina stating the "sold" ticket was not placed on the chair right away and the chair was sold to another customer. last year We loved our experience at Longstreet living! After looking at 9 stores from Coldwater to Grand Rapids we finally found just what we were looking for at Longstreet Living. The staff was very helpful but not pushy or intrusive. We were given ample amount of time to make an educated decision. The Family owned business was well informed and took the time to show us pieces with out pushing us into a sale. With some confined home requirements they worked with us thoroughly to get the right fit and finish we needed. My wife and I were exhausted after looking all weekend but walking into this store, we were both renewed with excitement. Sabrina was awesome and so helpful and the layout of the store is so nice and the pick up area's out back are so convenient for truck and trailer! last year Wade and his daughter have anger management problems. I went in to the store to use my credit to purchase something and they went off on me. My family video taped the whole thing on their phone. Wade was so out of control that he called me in the car when I left to tell me " oh you had more of a credit than you even thought" imagine that the customer was right. Maybe he felt bad waving those papers in my face but he and his daughter and sabrina whom I thought was a friend not one person apologized for their extremly embarassingly bad behavior when they realized they were wrong. Apparently the employees are so afraid of wade that they cant be as personable as they should be. Since they are all family that explains why they cant apologize they have to live with wade and are afraid I guess to go against him. Well needless to say no warm fuzzy feelings for longstreet. go to Kelly's in hudson I've never been attacked verbally and made to feel like I should run . Also a family business but one with ethics and morals and good character.

last year This is a family run business. Wade and his daughter have anger management issues so if you deal with sabrina she is able to talk to a person without losing her temper. No apologies when they are wrong must be afraid to answer to wade. Much different atmosphere at Kelly's in Hudson also a family run business but laid back atmosphere no one would ever yell at a customer and tell them "you are actually trying to aggravate me now" which is what they said when I came in to use my credit and purchase something else at longstreet. Kelly's have always been so accommodating and I've never felt like I should exit as quickly as possible. My family video taped the whole experience it was so bad at longstreet. So my vote go to Kelly's excellent selection and excellent folks.

It's very hard to navigate and there's no prices you can only view a few things in each category and for some reason the couches are outside 😂 highly recommend stoping by the store. But apart from getting the hours of operation I'd avoid the website.

2 years ago We bought a kitchen table and chairs last year. We had looked all over and found what we wanted at Longstreet. After a few months of use, the table ended up having a flaw and the finish was coming off in that spot. I waited months before calling. I made one phone call and a week later had a new table top installed! That is great service, and I will be buying furniture from them again! Thank you, Longstreet, for delivering great service in a world where it is becoming rare!

3 years ago This place is incredible! Whatever you're looking for for your home, they probably have it. Dealt with Nick Longstreet when we went in for flooring for our new home. We wanted carpet and vinyl planking. They had both in stock in the quantities we need, and scheduling was so easy! Can't wait to sit back and enjoy! Will definitely go back for some housewares and furniture.

3 years ago Store is HUGE! So much to choose from. After being at several other furniture stores between Ann Arbor and Jackson, we decided to take the 45 minute drive out to see what they had.We will ALWAYS come here first. We got a really good deal on this sofa for our in home Movie Theater, (which is only a small bedroom converted into a 2 person theatre!)The staff is very friendly, and they allow you to look without any pressure. We paid for our purchase and plan to pick it up in about a week. They also do delivery, but we are so far out we decided to come back for it.

Brooke was extremely patient as it took awhile to get it just right. Her customer service skills are excellent. Highly recommend Longstreet Living as they have a wide selection of everything. 3 years ago Love Longstreet Living in Coldwater! We looked and looked for a suitable reclining lift chair. They were graciously accommodating during the the whole experience. The sales person guided us to what we were looking for after questions about the needs of the person that would be using it and helped us find the right fabric and size. 3 years ago We just had our cabin re-carpeted. Dealing with Nick L was a pleasure. He treated us fairly and delivered exactly what he promised on the date he promised. When he called to tell us the floor needed pre-installation work he was apologetic. It was not his fault that the people who installed the floor were incompetent. He told us what we needed, fixed the problem and delivered is a great carpet in our rebuilt home. We have no hesitancy in recommending him and Longstreet. They are great.

4 years ago I took my mother to Longstreet to purchase furniture for her assisted living apartment. The staff was delightful, very patient helping Mom decide on styles and fabrics. Longstreet has a terrific selection, beautiful decor and furniture. The delivery men were courteous, too. Mom is very happy with her new items. We're definitely going to shop there again!

4 years ago Longstreet Living is by far the worst place I have worked for. I have countless stories of the disrespectful behavior towards employees,customers and myself. Wade yelled in my face calling me f****** arrogant and continued to yell at me to quit. Sabrina shared all their pricing secrets and it's a ripoff... you're welcome! I will never shop or even step foot in the store again! Horrible!!!

They always have been so helpful in helping me find the right fabric for my furniture and the right type of flooring for the business. The install on the flooring was done very quickly and efficiently. The quality of work has withstood very well. I would highly recommend them!

Certain color, special size, exceptional value for the money, it all matters to us� From the first step inside, I was greeted with kindness, directed toward an area that may suit my needs. Looking at many different options and bothering a lot of people lol "thanks for the tape measure by the way" so many went way out of there way to find. A great deal that Wade was willing to give on a couch that was not going to fly for my millennial lol But seriously I really thought the family environment was super cool, everyone was great. We have purchased two sectionals, a coffee table and matching entertainment stand, a queen size mattress, a headboard and footboard, carpet, and laminate flooring from them over the years. 6 years ago We shopped around and visited Longstreet on a very busy Saturday. That being said we were still given excellent service and a great deal for two recliners. I have purchased from them in the past and enjoyed my furniture. The new store is very warm and inviting it is a must to go out and take a look at what they have to offer. I plan to go back and purchase some new end tables very soon.

6 years ago Hi my name is Walter VanArman, I got a Armoire from Longstreet Furniture . when it was delivered the doors where messed up Due to delivery. I contacted Longstreet and the guys brought another one out. unassembled and had to use my tools to put it together,since they did not bring any tools. they stripped the screws, never told him as the drawers from the other Armoire could have been used. So the next day I loaded the drawers up, went to the store . they where just opening. this man proceeded to tell me that he would like to punch me. and swore at me over and over, this was all done in front of his workers, who DID NOTHING to help. I guess that it made Wade feel like a real big man. standing there and yelling at me like that, in front of your employes . I was embarrassed. and I did not have to bring these drawers back . I will let everyone I know just how great you are at dealing with the elderly. I was the first one at the door. it said open, it was raining. and the door was locked . and I stood in the rain. it was not until I sat the doors down and went into his truck that he unlocked the door and grabbed the drawers. Wade started in on my me as soon as I walked in.. degrading ...I've have gotten all my furniture from you people over the years, I dealt with Kevin when purchased this. This man should not be in a business where he deals with people, I have spent tons of money in this store over the years.

6 years ago We have been pondering your situation and trying to come up with a solution to make you happy. When we delivered the wrong mattress, that was strictly human error. We turned right around and brought you a brand new mattress, not your repaired one. Your mattress warranty only covered repairs not replacement. The mattress you have right now is the correct one. Your old mattress is in our warehouse right now, confirming what you have now is the same model we delivered to you. We are planning on donating your repaired mattress, so our store is the one that is out the cost of your mattress. We are sorry you are so disappointed, but we do not know what else we could have done to make you happy.

8 years ago I always have a positive experience when I shop at Longstreet Furniture and Floors. I am always greeted when I enter. I like to browse on my own until I find something that interests me. All I have to do is look around and a member of the staff is ready to answer questions or show me other choices. Compared to "big Box" Furniture places, this is the way I like to shop!

8 years ago we went to Longstreet Furniture in Sturgis, get customer service, lady lead us to what we wanted answered all our questions. Deliver service men were great, put up our beds and took away the wrappers and boxes. Everyone was great, have been customer before and will be again. THANK YOU ALL

8 years ago Went in today no other customers in the store and was ask what we were looking for. When I said we were just starting to look but were interested in sectional pieces about 4 foot with right and left side, if they could be bought by the piece or a chair and a half. We wanted it for a small window seating. He said yes some could be bought by the piece and then just walked away. Didn't say these are what I have in what you are looking for or even try. He walked into the back came back out and went and sat down. Terrible customer service and NO help the girl working there looked at us we said Hi and she walked of not even asking to help. Not sure I will go back or send some one in.

8 years ago When I said what we were interested in I thought he would at the very least show us where some were in the store but to be told well look around and he walked off and then the girl in the other room not to even ask if she could help when we walked in was just showing that what would probably been a $600 - $800 sale wasn't needed by the store.

8 years ago They did have a couple of customers at that time. He was looking for a alternative suggestion for you. Since what you are wanting to do with a sectional would not be the best. One of the ends will always be unfinished. I am seeing he didn't communicate his intentions with you very well. For that we are sorry. We are only human and do the best we can. I guess communication is everything especially in this situation.

8 years ago There was no one else in the store at the time and he then answered his cell phone. When he got off of it he went in the back and then went and sat down at the desk. He made no offer of help and ends can be added to sectionals from several places on line I have been doing my research before coming in. He did not try to show us one thing in the store.

8 years ago We tried to shop local but now know to go out of town because of the service here.

8 years ago Just for the record the sectional in the front corner by the window that we liked would have worked. Finished down to the bottom where they bolt together which would have been up against the wall and then if we decided to use it in another room they could have been bolted together to make a couch. We really liked them and wanted to know more but since no one would walk back over we decided why wait. We did know what we wanted and what would work in our space.

8 years ago Terrible for customer service. It is obvious they don't care about their customers. They don't like to assist you with any problems you may encounter. The delivery crew was disgusting and rude.
